I, Object! (2008) creators and cast - Jared Mezzocchi Jared Mezzocchi graduated from Fairfield University in May 2007, receiving a B.A. in Film and Theatre.  Throughout his undergraduate education, he created A Pienocchi ('06) and The One Stoplight in Hollis ('07), incorporating film and theater together into a collaborative performance where actors jump in and out of the movie screens.  Since moving to New York City, Jared has designed video for Untitled Theater Company #61's Hiroshima: Crucible of Light and Teatro Global's Iphigenia at Aulis.  He has also directed readings of plays with Paper Beats Rock in the Lower East Side.  Most recently, Jared has begun working with both Rob Roth and Big Art Group with their video design and manipulation for such shows as SOS and Screen Test.  Beyond designing and directing, Jared considers himself, first and foremost an actor.  Most recently: Hiroshima: Crucible of Light (Sparky/Skier/Ensemble, UTC #61), Notes on a Dialectic (Phil, Eat It Festival), As you Like It (Orlando, Fairfield University), and Cabaret (Emcee, Fairfield University).  Jared has begun creating the ground plan for an artistic performative, collaborative, interdisciplinary community set in Brooklyn, NY, called Pienocchi Productions.
