Jake Hooker, Resident Playwright
Jake Hooker is a Brooklyn-based writer. His performance work has been seen at HERE, The Ontological-Hysteric Theatre, Raw Space, WAX, La Mama, and The Medicine Show, among others. He was a co-curator of HERE's 2003 American Living Room Series and is currently co-curating WAX's Bridge Dance-Theatre series in residence at University Settlement. He is the Resident Playwright with Adhesive, which produced his play

Jake holds a BFA in Theatre/Original Works from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle and an MA in Theatre & The World from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth (Centre for Performance Research). He is an NEA/TCG New Generations Mentorship recipient, working with Big Dance Theater.
